I knew integra's were slow but...

this was just ridiculous....

I really need to start keeping a camera on hand first of all. But again, like with the JK thread, I was on my way home from work and here comes this mid 90's integra flying up with green underglo

I go half throttle just to get up to the speed limit as I was just cruising...Wasn't racing. Come to a red and i'm behind...

Light turns green...the thing has a fart can so it's loud as hell and he guns it chirping tires away. I go about 1/2 throttle and then just gun it once I hit about 20mph...and the amazing part to me is I was pulling big time on it but he was still full throttle.

WTF? I mean, I'm running a bone stock renix 4.0 comanche (minus the shorter tires) and I'm pulling hard on a rev happy "sport tuner" from a roll?

Now the question is.... Do I have a freak of a stock renix, or are those integra's honestly that slow? I'm driving a brick on wheels with low end grunt only and I pull on him from a roll?

something similar happened to me...

I was coming onto an expressway and started picking up speed, and this little lowered civic with a fart can is coming up fast behind me.. Well he blows by me, so I down shift from fourth to third and hammer it, I couldn't believe how fast I flew around him.. I bet he was crapping himself when he saw a cherokee fly by him while he was revvin the piss out of that pos....

to answer your question..... I think the rice burners are actually that SLOW

I think you fail to realize how slow a 130hp vehicle weighing 2600lbs dry(no occupants) can be. I'm one of those 39 year old guys that just sold his high 12 second 92 Civic hatch that enjoyed doing what you did to V8 cars.
A muffler and neon doesn't make a car fast!

living in a rich bastard town like i do, i quite enjoy making preppy dicks' brand new suzuki xl-7's, lexuses, toyotas, acuras, etc eat a lot of my dust and w/e else happens to be falling off of my 17 year old jeep.

however im soon to have a lift and bigger tires so ill have to limit myself to old hondas and such from now on.

Yes you really do. This is the second kill with your Renix, and no pics/video?!?!

But as the driver of a Renix, I believe you! I killed a WJ a few months back, should have seen his face. Im still waiting for my ricer kill though. Sounds like fun!

my jeep, nor any other stock renix would take my prelude. not even the 5.9. but yes, SOME ricers are slow, and some integras are slow. you probably raced an integra ls. i think its rated at about 130 to the flywheel, so maybe 100 to the ground? but try a gsr or type r.

there's also a good chance the integra was auto,
or a poor driver driver running stick

Well them rice rockets are just dumb. I was in that Game for a while, DSM, and some of those guys just put on things that make it "Look and Sound" fast.

Those Cars are GREAT for Daily Drivers, and really can be Balls Fast, but there will always be those dumb kids...

Imports vary in level, just like US made vehicles. An integra Ls is like a 6cylinder mustang, slightly retarded. Putting a fart can on an import makes you a ricer because someone is clearly not understanding how their engine works. The thing is that the majority of the most powerful and modded imports on the streets are sleepers because they dont have all the stupid body kits, fart cans and neons. Sucks cause those guys give imports a bad name. A manual GS-r(with a decent driver) will run at LEAST mid to high 14s and those are high numbers.
