anything with an H.O. motor...i believe 92 and up, from any 4.0 jeep. (i got mine from a 1996 zj (grand cherokee) but a wrangler would be fine too). you just swap your sensors over, which takes 5 min unless the bolts get stuck...like the one on the zj throttle body

I heard that there was a change in the number of sensors in the throttle body around 1996

So mine is the same as your, right?

ok...well i went to the three junk yards in town today. Only one of them had a 96+ and it was a 99 and they wanted 65 bucks for the tb if i pulled it. I thought that was kinda funny
So, now (even tho there high priced) im thinking about going and geting the whole 99+ intake
We will see what happends, i havent desided yet.
If everything goes to plan, this weekend im going to bore out my orginal TB, i guess ill just take the risk of messing it up.

Anybody know what else i would need to take off beside the intake itself?

do i need fuel rails, injectors, wireing, cables, or anything else, or will it all just switch right over that easy?
Oh and i know i need a new gasket, so everyone doesnt need to tell me.

Im thinking i may stop tomarow and ask how much he wants for the whole intake and w/e other parts you guys say i need.

Wait a minute.

So you bored the TB, but didn't install a larger throtal plate? How the hell does your motor idle then? I can see the huge gab between the plate and the TB surface.

i only took out the tapper at the bottom...so it is 60mm all the way down. the diameter of the valve is 60mm, so the stock plate could be used
