Dual Super-44 Exhaust UPDATE!
Hey guys...
i havent been around a whole lot for a while now...
but, i just thought i would share some new stuff on the exhaust.
Ive been pulled over twice so far for sound ordnance. Last Friday i got a verbal warning from the cop, and he said i had to quiet it down by next friday (the 18th)
So, being the defiant 18 year old i am, i went and got a decibel test done at a stereo place. They took the time to do the test the right way, exactly how state law states it should be done.
In Washington, the law says that at 80% of your top RPM, your exhaust needs to be at 95 db's or under. I was at 94 db's. I have spoken to about 4 other police officers since that test, and all of them have told me that if this cop pulls me over again, and gives me a ticket even after i tell him its legal(they dont have the equip. to test it), that they will bet the ticket gets dropped.
But, I figured its time to get a Cat anyways, so...i ordered one. so, i shouldnt be getting bothered about the exhaust again...
Oh, im also getting a header , and new down pipe...
there should be some low end gained...I lost a little after taking the old cat off...
Ill let ya guys know how it goes...

I doubt a decent cat will hurt any performance gains.

yea, my cat should be here sometime this week...and the only gains i made was a little bit in the higher RPMs, so, thats all...
anyways, i was just going to get that stainless header thats like 120 or something around there...if anyone has the link...it would be great...i cant find it anymore...
oh yea, my jeep is also getting fixed soon....from the deer this summer
so, im pretty excited...i should have a little more power, and, its gonna not be all dented and ****...ha

this is the header I got, but I paid less than that. It seems very well made and has better welds than the apn header.

Ive drove past cop with the exhaust removed after the manifold and never got stop, and it was loud enough to set off car alarms at idle.

X2....when i had my 90' i drove past a police substation at a pretty slow pace...and i was chased down and pulled over a few miles down the road because they claimed they heard me racing, because my exhaust was so loud

Ordinance*
Ordnance = explosives and such
Sound Explosives
I got chased down, but it wasn't for exhaust... Music was too loud at 2330 or so.
