Unfortunately, those cars had very little aftermarket support; my only performance upgrades are listed below. Nobody made headers, and the 3.1L turbo motors were impossible to find. Apparently, it wasn't safe to put more than a 30shot of nitrous on the stock internals either. The front pre92 rotors were only 9", and a basic rear disc conversion ran a staggering $1500. That's pretty much why I sold it (back in 2004 before I bought my Jeep). Of course, since than guys have been swapping 3.4L heads on their 3.1L blocks and one guy has been playing around with a remote turbo, but the basic bolt-ons still don't exist.

engine
WAI w/K&N Filter and 160 degree thermostat
7mm platinum wires and NGK plugs

Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:
17" ADR Racing Powers
215/45/ZR17 Dunlop Sport W-10
Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs
Springtech Gas Sport Shocks
Nickel Cadium Coated Cross-drilled Rotors
Brakeco ss lines
Euro F1 Racing Pads
Rebuilt Front Calipers (painted red)

theres a guy not too far from me that has a Beretta with the 3.1 and 5speed, appearantly he had the same problem as you so he actually built his own turbo exhaust manifolds. I think he's running around 10lbs of boost, I only saw it at a car show and he had a Spec sheet for it but I don't remember.

well its not actually purple even though that is how it looks. It is the same paint that my racing stripes are, its called Chromalusions Fireprism. It turns shades of green, yellow, gold, purple, fushia. If the stuff wasn't 300bux a quart i wold have painted a diferent color after seeing how it turned out.

Capri's are sweet. I have a 86 T-top notch in the garage and a 91 in storage
