Well I don't offroad in mine so I figured street Jeeps would be perfect.

Thanks. Yea if I didn't have so much money in it I would but, being its my daily driver I don't want to bang it up. Corny I know lol.

soo your exhaust is it aftermarket, it looks black, is it new?

blackjeep05 03-06-2013 02:26 PM

Yea I have a Borla cat back but, the tip was put on at a muffler shop and I painted it matte black instead of the stainless steel it was.

You can paint your exhaust pipe, how do i do it? If i paint my exhaust pipe will it go away because of the heat?

yellowtj101 03-07-2013 06:18 PM

I sanded it down as good as I could by hand with a fine grit just so the paint would adhere to the surface better. As far as the paint you need a really high temp exhaust paint which you can by at Autozone or any auto parts store the one I used was made by VLT I think but I will have to check it when I get home and see. I used matte black on mine. I did have to put about three coats on it but, since that time it has held up very good even in the rain. Also too it takes about seven days for the paint to cure 100% so be careful washing it or running thru a high pressure wash.

Olympic rockslider A/T's and each were 250.00 a piece. I had the tube bumpers before but, sold them after I realized how weak they truly were and just bulky.
