I'm not sure about the 4wd, I kept mine 2wd. I don't go off road in my DJ5, I use my HUMMER for that. Don't give up on that DJ5 even if you don't go with the 4wd, they are awesome Jeeps. Check out what I did with mine. If you would like to see more pics, go to facebook, search DJ5 postal jeep.

Yes, I used Aervoe #987A spray paint(rattle can). Just take it one panel at a time. Be sure to allow lots of time for prep, lots of sanding, I used 80, than 100 grit sand paper.Call Alan for the paint, he has the best price, and ships fast.(609) 953-1003
will do once i get home. Luckily jeepforum isnt blocked on the work computers :P
You ever gone on any trails with your dj? i have always thought that its actually a pretty good little truck with the limitted slip rear 44 even if it is 2wd. Still gonna have to get myself a cheap jeep for wheeling though
I love DJ-5's I'm looking to buy one. Just waiting until one with a I6 in it comes up for sale under a grand. I would love to put like a 2 or 3 inch lift on it. I have seen them done but I cant find a kit anywhere, does anyone know where I can find one? Thanks. Also I want you all to know I'm very jealous of all you DJ owners!
