Alot of people would like to hear this. AND want this. Money is tight right now, soo i donno if you'll have any luck. It would be really cool to hear and drive something with 40s and headers. I got the super 40s they are pretty nice right out of the box.

what aftermarket headers/manifolds do most of you guys run? Anybody use the one in the ad at the top of the page? It is also sold at summit, but is like 60 bucks more there, and looks the exact same. Anybody here run hooker headers? Just looking for options for myself.

Search for steelghost, or steeleghost... he had a Banks (IIRC) header and a Super-40 Flowmaster video running around somewhere.

Hands down the BEST 4.0 exhaust clip ive ever heard. I like it even better than mine...

Nevermind, found it...

Sounds good, but I wouldn't want an exhaust that sounded like that on a vehicle as slow as an XJ. You'd get guys in Mustangs and Cameros wanting to race you sounding like that. Exhaust volume should be directly proportional to the power/speed of your vehicle, IMO.

I guess we should all get huge external speakers and play sound effects of a speeding turtle through them... thats proportionate...

XJ's arent fast, but they do have grunt to them. I think they have enough to qualify for a nice sounding exhaust.

The XJ is not a muscle car, however. It as a Jeep SUV that just so happens to have more balls than anything in it's class.

For a small SUV the XJ is fast. Could take many moded cars that are considered hot these days.

Ghetto, you had the Gibson exhaust prior? How much louder is your current setup over the Gibson?
