600hp Transmission/Transfer Case

Hi everybody I was wondering if there are any people on here that have swapped trans/transfer cases in their jeeps for higher hp applications. I was thinking about full manual valve body 700r4 and NP205. But I the NP205 is really heavy and way more than I would need. Also how hard would it be to wire in a 4L60e and the matching transfer case (I know its lighter). Would combination would you recommend. I already have the motor situation figured out, but it's a secret until I post it on my build page. Remember trying to stay as light an strong as I can. Thank you for the help!

I ran a th350/ Dana 300 tcase behind well over 600HP for a number of years. OD would be great, but depending on the application, it might not be needed and you can go the old simple route.

Yeah I was looking into the dana 300 last night and it seemed like a great option. Substantially lighter than the NP205 and its really all that I'll need.

What I'm trying to shoot for is a daily driver/sleeper. It's going to be lifted (3.5" Rusty's Kit). I want to be able to race it, drive it to work, college, and be able to still take it mildly offroad. Plus where I live we get a good amount of snow each year so a decent lift with a lot of power should make it fun. And possibly take it to the dunes. Havn't been there but I've always wanted to go.

The modifications I want to do are D30 HP Front (4.56 Locker, Yukon Shafts, Artec Truss), Ford 8.8 Rear (4.56 Locker/Spool, C-Clip Elimination, Artec Swap Truss) 4.0 Stroker w/ Holset HX35w Turbo, 700r4 Trans (TCI full rebuild, Manual Valve Body, Maybe transbrake), Dana 300, Stich weld panels and structurally re-enforce unibody, Roll Cage, Rigid light bar, and Bumpers.

Sounds like a solid plan. Shoot me a PM if you do a build thread so I'm aware of it in case I don't see it. Definitely interested in how the 4.0/turbo setup goes. We are at the dunes quite a bit, you'll definitely have fun with some good HP in the sand!
I run a 30 with Yukon shafts in it and some good HP. Never had any issues, but the real hard abuse is always done in the sand.
