Got home from work yesterday and when it was 95 outside and looked over at the XJ and saw that it was leaking some fluid. After further investigation I found a crack in the top front passenger side of the radiator. I guess I know what I am replacing this weekend.

Replaced the radiator today with an OEM one. I back flushed the cooling system and replaced the water pump with one that I had bought a month back and was just not feeling like working on it. All I need to get is one more bottle of 50/50 coolant and will be good to go I hope. During the change I cracked one of the tabs on the mechanical fan shroud that I bought less then 6 month's ago. I hope that I have it secured enough to not worry about it.

Helped a friend pick up a donor XJ today. Paid $500, it is a 98 XJ Sport 4x4 with 130,xxx miles on it. Starts up no problem on the first try. Body is really rough but wasn't planning on doing anything with it. He is taking the engine, transmission and the transfer case out and putting it in his 88 XJ that blew a motor last month. I will be getting a couple skid plates and the headliner out of it also.

Bought the Dirtbound Offroad extreme winch bumper today, and the JCR steering box Spacer.

Now time to decide on the winch.

I bought the Smittybuilt XRC10 winch and some quick disconnects for the winch connection. I am hoping to get the bumper in by either this coming Friday or the following Monday. I also bought some new fuel injectors from a friend and will be getting them installed when I get them. It is going to be a busy next couple weeks.

Got the bumper delivered yesterday. I think that I will really like it. I have already put 2 coats of self etching primer on it and two coats of Dupli-color bed line armor on it. I mocked up the winch on it before I did any of the painting and it looked good. Here are some of the pictures I have taken the last couple of day's.

Bumper made it on today.

I will wire the lights and the winch on Sunday.

Thank you Mobbin.

I am getting something quick to eat and going out to get the HID's powered and figure out the routing of the cable for the winch. I am going to add quick disconnects so I will be able to hook up the winch or jumper cable's real easy. I will be running 2 or 4 gauge tinned copper cable like I ran with the rest of the charging system.

I just started working 6-10's that will last till almost Christmas so I'm not sure anymore. I was hoping to do it in October when it starts to cool off down here...

I think I am going with Monstaliner Midnight Special when I do it. I got the paint chip samples and it was the one my wife and I liked the most. That and I won't have to worry about the door jams and the rest of the cracks between body panels being a different color.
