rough country didnt give me an option. I ordered the 4.5'' xflex kit with full packs, and what I ended up with was what I ended up with, not long after I intalled them i sent several pictures to RC, the guy said it would settle after I drove it and flexed it. 2 years later. it hasn't. Not to clutter up this man's build thread with that tho.

Moar pics!

Started to get parts to finally do a SYE. Drive shaft out of a 99 from ebay. Also picked up 3 new Spicer u-joints and new Spicer ball centering kit. I am planning on ordering the IRO SYE next week. I should have new drive shaft rebuilt and ready by the time I get the stuff from IRO.

Decided to take the kids out to the beach and stretch the XJ's legs a little.

I guess it is time to start planning to trim some.

New Rough Country shackles did well.

Does the forward facing 30" bar reflect off your hood? I've got one in my front bumper and want to put it on my roof. Could you take some pictures from inside the cab with the light on at night?

It doesn't reflect much off of my hood that I can tell. It is bright but I think that it is more from the light color of the hood. I used Rustoleum Camo Khaki on the hood and roof so with the flat finish there is no reflection. I will try to get out and get some pics tonight when it gets dark outside.

That was the original plan but I think that I am going to leave the roof Khaki and do the rest in black. I thought that I would like the Khaki color more then I do.

Had my wife snap a pic with me about 150 feet away.

Here's what it looked like on my side.

Sweet! Thanks for the pix man. The glare isn't bad at all. Looks like ill have to find a matte clear for my hood.

Black is a solid choice. There's been more and more khaki XJs popping up

I upgraded my headlight wiring this weekend the following "go.jeep-xj - How to Head light Loom" and seem to have something wrong/backwards with the high beams. If I have my lows on and flip over to my highs and then back to my lows the highs stay on as well. I tried a different relay and it did the same thing. Possible bad relays? Or maybe the ground? Any ideas from anyone that has done the headlight upgrade?
