1 tj (trade with cash for my truck)
2 xjs the 98 and the posj so
I'm selling the posj to my friend.

I love reading build from the start, yours was really good and you do a lot of good work :-) ... There is a fine line between pos and awesome ... Lol I think most of us are more towards the pos side .. But it's a jeep .. And that's the building part

Got to love getting a new box at work.

Waiting on my axle to be done

What's The maximum amount of thread exposed that is safe in a 7/8 hiem? I have about a half inch of thread exposed on my steering mock up.

Also spacers are ordered And my shock towers are on the way.

how are the angles?
Keep in mind it is mounted over the pitman arm so they are pretty parallel.

Well .. I know you know but just saying it ... your goal with the angles is to get them as parallel to each other as possible, hopefully on a flat plane, and equal length.

You might end up with a little bump steer like that.

I think if you got a drop pitman arm, and ditched the track bar for a ruff stuff Panhard you would be perfect and love it. It really makes a big difference in the end. I think it would only cost you $200ish to get it perfect.

But it looks good man huge improvement

Some say when your steering is perfect, you can't see the track bar. .. Yours is a little deceiving because of the track bar you have. I think you will really like a Panhard because that will let you lower your drag link a lot with a drop pitman and you will be close to flat

I have better pic of steering setups somewhere .. But this one is pretty good. I really don't like the bent track bars ... I guess if your LCOG enough you may need it for clearance.

Mine is similar to that, as my track bar has two bends in it also. Bump steer is minimal.

I'm so low that I had to clearance my iro bar to clear my 44. But since every thing looks tits I will just grab another bar such as the ruff stuff. I also am going to be doing a set of long arms with a nice skid/crossmember. I may be bumping up to 4.5 ish.
