When you can prove you're ability to drive by stating that you've been driving your XJ at night for months and havn't been in any accidents.

lol, so true...my driving lights are 3x's brighter than my headlights...when i turn off the driving lights, its like i turned off my headlights even though they are still on...

when your driving down the road and take to the time to find the trailhead that you saw at 65MPH

when you set up a spredsheet to figure out you MPG, so you know how far you can go b4 you run out of gas

When you park on a really steep hill in a friend's driveway and engage the parking brake... even though you know its basically useless and probably wouldnt prevent the jeep from rolling away anyways

Can anyone recommend some good headlights to replace these ****ty ones would be most appreciated? I have driven for 3 solid years with the brights on and have only been flashed once! It was the same in my YJ for 6 years prior...

I put black tape over the dash area where the blue "brights" indicator comes on, because that thing is brighter than my headlights and causes a distraction!
I turn off my stereo and dim the dash all the way to improve the contrast!

I do probably need a harness upgrade as not enough power is getting up there, but has anyone found good improvement from just using some euro-code headlights or something?

(2000 XJ SPORT NV3550 NP231 D 30 Chry 8.25) --------> Totalled! Salvagable, but settlement sounded good.

silver stars will be much brighter even w/o a harness upgrade, i put them in my 01 and got flashed the first night with them on low, that being said i do plan to go to HIDs eventually

Or you have to plan the next several years of your life so that they revolve around your Jeep plans.

When you realize that this wedding thing is going to eat up your next upgrade.....and then she wants furniture on top of that!?

4.6 stroker, 2wd, 5spd, larger sway bars front and rear, 3.55s, KJ 16's.

Projected date of completion - lol
