So true and you instinctively wave at them and get all confused when they don't wave back until you remember you're driving your truck

when you know which enthusiast-owned XJs you will see on your daily commute and regularly wave to them like you know who they are but have never seen their face.

when you have more rain inside than outside of your xj

when everyone asks "is that supposed to sound like that when you start to move?" and you have to explain how increased driveline angle and xj's are not friends

when your first mods were mostly cosmetic and you were wanting a stockish look, then at some point you change the course and wont do any mods to it that wont help its offroad use in some way.

My Jeep is SUPPOSED to stay Stock but I'm not sure if that plan is going to follow through. I've been weighing both options of lifting and restoring my 2WD XJ.

YKYDAXJW When your roomate steps in to ride in it and thirty minutes into the trip they go, "Something smells like it's burning really bad, you need to pull over because it's starting to make me nauseous." I know people say, "Whats that burning smell?" But the way he said it made me go hysterical laughing. Literally lost his lunch on the side of the highway too. My Bessy obviously hates people riding in her except me. That or I've just built up an abnormal tolerance for the smell of burning oil. My valve cover leaked something terrible but is all fixed now.

I thought i was the only one.

I constantly feel like the jeep is tiny, and then i park it in a parking lot next to other vehicles and it instantly transform into this huge looking monster.

YKYDAXJ when you explain to any new passenger everything that makes the Jeep seem like it may explode at any second even though it's not even close to exploding.
