You know you're driving an XJ, when people comment, "I didn't even know they made lift kits for Volvos."

when a strange clunking noise starts in the front left end, it's not the alignment, it's not the suspension, so you choose to just let it be until it becomes obvious (unless someone on here miraculously knows what the problem is???)

We have a lot of jeeps...and other toys....that is all.

You keep entering the same numbers into the calculator to figure out your mpg, muttering "that can't be fricken right", and shaking your head.

in study hall in school, when you finish your homework, you try and figure out in what order to do your next mods and how much they will cost

Your radio has to "warm up" with the engine before you can get it to not skip (I think it's just the crappy player, not messed up wiring in the jeep).

You can flash your lights by playing with the power lock switch (fixed with new battery).

If you actually have door side arm rests, when you lean on them too hard the door rattles REAL bad.

When you wake up every morning and look down into the parking lot to stare at your jeep rather than up at the sun.

..when you buy one thinking it'll take just a few bucks to get it perfect and before you know it you've driven 740 miles to get floor pans from a complete stranger, bought all new rear suspension parts, and bought a mig welder, angle grider, and spot weld cutter in order to replace the rusted out floor you discovered in spite of the fact that you've never welded anything in your life before.
^(I hope there aren't any english teachers reading this )

..when you have to take frequent breaks to rest your arm when searching for radio stations because the seek buttons are 300 MILES away from the driver's seat.

..when people look at you funny when you make a sharp turn in a freshly paved parking lot and your tires squeal.
