... your oil pressure gauge is completely worthless.
... your two younger brothers buy one after seeing how bad-a yours is.
... your local auto store carries every part imaginable.
... your heep has 250K miles and still has the original clutch
... your fiance's aunt sells hers and you cry because she didn't let you know she was getting rid of it so you could buy it.
... more than half the bolts holding it together are no longer metric sizes cuz you replaced them.
... you wonder why they thought the little rubber plug on the pumkin was a good idea.
... ^^you know what i'm talking about.

When you stand out on the front porch at the end of the day with a beverage and just stare at it, like it might do a trick.

...When your gas gauge is below 1/4 tank you know hard left and right turns are going to cause it to stall for a second or two, but live with it for quite a while cause you don't want to drop the tank.

the thing looks and feels like it is about ready to break in half, so you buy a "newer" to "replace" it, but you have waaaay too much time and money into the "old" one, not to mention youve had it forever, to let it go, so you park it out back, knowing it's not going to get any better on it's own, but one day you plan to dump waaaay more money into it to get it going again, while knowing it will probably never happen. and you justify it by telling your girlfriend you are keeping it for "parts", and she finally stopped asking, "why do you have to to the parts store to buy that? dont you have another one outback?" and you just keeping telling her its one of those things you are better off to replace with new, instead of old, even though you damn well you put a new whatever it was on the parked jeep not too long before you parked it, you just dont want to part it out haha.
