X2, the plastic brackets broke off under the armrest compartment. It is only held on by whatever holds it down in the front.

When you loose your leg hair on your right calf from the excruciatingly hot bare tranny hump.

Wish I was a head light on a north bound train
I would shine my light through cool Colorado rain.

Ok I have a few now
You've ever changed a rear main seal, exhaust manifold, or neutral safety switch.
You've ever had to take heavy-duty degreaser in the shower with you.
You have two item in your Jeep at all times. PB blaster and Never-sieze.

When you feel the need to read all 1581 post before posting something of your own
When you race other vehicles just to see how long it takes for them to finnaly win (usually round 70 from a 30 roll)
When your friends drive next to you when you have brighter Lights
When Jeep is an excuse to not hang out with people you dont like
When you drive your xj like a lambo

x2 that is so true
..... when you say you "have" to pull the engine to fix the bolts you sheered off 4 wheelin.
..... when the hatch only opens when you hit it, and your ok with it because you call it a jeep safety feature.
..... when you would rather go the hard way because you know you can.

If you like it rough, do it in a Jeep!

...when u buy new tires and the first place u go with them is to the local trails!

idk if this has happened to other ppl, but i pulled up the 4x4 plastic to replace the light under there and there were 2 quarters and a bead and something else... and since its like 100 degrees out u just pull the bulb and leave the stuff down there for further use. lmao!

When you are 15 and put close to $800 into a 1996 XJ, thinking you will get it as your first vehicle, but your dad drives it because he gave his car go your older sister. So when you turn 16 you buy your own for $1000, it's a 1990 XJ. Little does your dad or little sister know, but when he buys a new vehicle, you have close to $800 worth of dibs on it for your DD so you can really start building your 1990.

That's my story of how I know I drive and XJ.
