Most of all thanks too Ian Johnson and the xtreme off-road crew for all their work, and 4 wheel to heal for their part in it too.

Did he ask you if it needed to be street legal? Do you already have a trailer and a tow vehicle? Wish I did.

Yea he asked me if I needed it street legal, at first I said yes but doesn't have to reach highway speeds. Then he said he can do that but he can go a lot more hardcore if he doesn't have to worry about street ability. So I told him to not worry about street legal, hardcore sounds better.

Decision was easy because I have a 2013 ram 2500, and a trailer 20 foot by 102" wide with drive over fenders

I just hate you more and more as this thread goes on. F'n JEALOUS! Your XJ is going to be UNREAL, doesn't have to be street legal, and you already have a nice truck and trailer to haul it. My life sucks. Why can't I be single, so all of my $$ could go to my toys?

I'm married bro! The trailer I got cheap and fixed up, the truck...well I splurged on that. The wife has a jeep though, 07 JKU but its stock...for now

After I pay off the little Dodge Caliber in 5 years I think I will be getting a used 4 door JK. The wife is looking at either a Compass, Patriot, or something similar. She is tired of the minivan. It's a 2005 Toyota Sienna and she has had it since it was brand new in December of '04. Now that the kids are 12 and 10 and she was stuck with the same Soccer Mom ride for 9 years I think she deserves a different vehicle. Maybe SHE can get a JK. I wouldn't complain about that.

Not yet, I have no idea what he has planned. I know the plan is to do a hardcore build.

I'll definitely update when I know more.
