Thanks 99 for putting up the pics, and thanks peewee for the compliment - she's a perpetual work in progress...

My lift is the Rough Country 3". I bought the jeep with it already on there, and from what I've heard, it's a pretty cheap way to lift - using spacers and blocks. Not exactly sure about everything included in the kit though. Since I figured it wouldn't hurt, I also put shackles on the rear. Works great though - especially with no sway bars. The best bang for the buck though are lockers. I'm locked front and rear with Powertrax Lockrite racheting lockers. So when I have 2 wheels stuffed and 2 in the air, I still have plenty of power/grip and can even steer.

A buddy of mine in Fayetteville, NC fabricated my bumpers for me. The rear one was actually an afterthought that we just slapped on there for function. One day we're going to cut the ends off and fab up some ends that fit nicely under the taillights and protect a little better. But the front one was specifically designed for my Jeep, and I personally think the fitment is nice. Both are made of 1/4 steel and the front is bolted directly to the front frame with 1/4 steel plates and using the 6 factory bolts. I hit/slide over/tow everything with those bumpers.

Here's how she used to look before I started hacking and painting:

Went wheeling on Saturday with the Jeep club.

Had to take a few poser shots now that I have front disconnect's.

Went through a few spots that I didn't think I could I do, you would be surprised what can be done with just a good spotter.

hah nope. Maybe next time....

But honestly, it would have been very tough to make it. That stuff was like quick sand. We were throwing rocks in and they just vanished below.....

Now that the comp's finally working properly... some pics. Unfortunately I can't post them directly since I'm new here and my probationary time has yet to end
One of three day's it's been clean:http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/9...urchase3hd.jpg
And the way it's been the other days, with a fresh batch applied every day:
http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/4...ddyshot6le.jpg
http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/5...dyshot22xb.jpg
And some offroad and flex shots... I was solo when I took the pics, so no mud-flinging ones. Yet...

http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/574/mallcrawl1wp.jpg

After taking those last two, I surprised myself by attempting to proceed up and onto the street and made it, with no spin on open diffs... heh.

And in closing, the muddy poser shot

A little wheelin out on my buddy's farm. This was really the first time I had gotten to wheel with the new lift and tires. Definately need to trim the bumper caps that wrap around. The 32's were trying really hard to do their own trim work on em, so i had to be careful on how hard I stuffed em. I need about another inch of bumpstop up front too.

Damn man, I'll bet you were rubbing REALLY back. My RE 3.5" kit + 31x10.50s rubs really bad on the end caps of the front bumper and on the back side of the fender flare.

I trimmed the cap but now I have to trim some of the back part of the flair as well...
