Went wheelin over in Vermont on Sunday. I got my stock '90 XJ stuck. Thankfully I'd already had to pull my buddy's lifted Toyota pickup out earlier, so he owed me one. I <3 my Cherokee.

The front end sank into the mud and the back end simultaniously sank in and plopped down on a little hill. Stuck!

Once I got out, we finished the trail without incident.

When I used to live in Colorado, there was a pretty cool place out near Boulder called "Right-hand Canyon" or something to that effect. That's where some of the top pics were taken. Definitely a fun place, there's stuff that would be fun for everyone - from a stock rig to a built-up rig.

Alaska has lots of places to go wheelin' as well. But after I moved back to Alaska, the XJ pretty much sat in my parent's garage until recently (I bought a '99 Dakota, and it became my daily driver...). This also explains why I just recently hit 100,000 miles - this is pretty low compared to other '94s around here. So far the XJ hasn't seen much trail use in Alaska - and as a result I don't have many Alaska trail pics.

As far as the shiny diff cover goes - I just bought the Jeep when those pics were taken (see the 'happy tags'?). The dealership I worked at made sure to do all the necessary services required for a 40,000 mile vehicle (ie: trans and diff service) prior to selling it to me. I have other pics where the front diff cover is nice and shiny as well.

Haven't done anything too extreme yet in this XJ as she must remain a loyal hunting partner (she is however, equiped to handle most situations).
