Jeepernick, those trails look pretty cool, are they just near by? like your backyard? looks pretty awesome, especially that low running, wide creek, or whatever it was.

Just some more pics. One picture is after I broke both axleshafts (axle and wheel) and u-joint as well as upper ball joint. Wasn't fun: no vehicle that could get back there could pull me out of the mud, so I went back the next day with a high-lift jack, 4-ton come-along, and some determination. 5 hours later she was out of the mud. Then I couldn't drive her out on her own power, so I went back the day after, toted all my tools about 1/4 mile down into the woods, and fixed her up so she could at least roll home.

The Jeep dealership quoted me $950 just for parts to fix it. I got everything except for the ball joint from a junk yard, and have it totally fixed for $90.

I'm now in the process of painting her flat black, cutting the fenders out, and mounting a CB radio (along with washing it out so my girlfriend doesn't gripe about riding in it!).

Anyways, enjoy!

Of course your always looking to something bigger than the last, 96 GC Orvis V8 5.2,

nope.

im a firefighter, not to mention i have 55watt lights up there to the front and one on each side, lights up the night very well. I'll have to post a pic of my voltmeter when i have some of the lights on, the needle seems to like the danger zone.

This was taken after the Jeep plowed through a little canyon just outside Las Vegas. The hill was conquered.

I got home and found a mud puddle after some rain
