Yeah, that was the tail end of this hole. You can see the line on the door from the level of the water and mud I was in. ******* girlfriend was riding passenger and said she wanted to see how deep it really was so opened the door, thereby flooding the cab with nasty, muddy, crap-smelling mud and water. I coulda killed her. There's a video of it, just waiting on it to be uploaded.

French Lick Jamboree

here's a bunch of pics from my most recent jamboree.

the last pic is of randy's ravine (not my jeep) It's about 200 yards of 12"-20" ledgestone and steep!

Hey you wanna buy a boat man?
It's a deal. I swear to God it is.

some more pics

I almost flopped her on her side going down this dry creek bed. It was REALLY off camber and had a lot of holes that flexed the XJ WAY out. A CJ7 on 35's that was behind me did flop and a root tore a big hole in his soft top Also in this pic you can see our trail leader ahead of me. He was driving a nice, locked '76 CJ5 on 33" boggers with a 360 under the hood and was having a hard time squeezing it down the trail.

(the two greatest things on earth, the jeep and the girl)

Happy Trails!

Nothing major, just wanted to get her out sinse the rock rail install and hitch. Much stiffer than expected. I would normally get a lot more complaining from the rear hatch and the doors. No noises this time. I did end up with less flex than usual, not sure if it was the stiffness of the body or not. You'd think it wouldn't have mattered.

couple more

Some shots of the rail mounts. Notice the rear torque box tie in bolt on the second pic.

A liitle mud before I left. It's been too dry for any deep stuff, so just what I could find. I did this at the end of my trip. I did the disco's first, I hate dealing with mud.

Got morein the engine compartment than I would have thought. The Air filter wasn't really all that dirty at all. I guess that muffler shield sits just high enough against the hood.

Here's the gauge layout. Water temp on top, trans on bottom. Also the aviator switches for the front lights. Coffee cup holder by the shifter, and a ZJ handle to clear the cup when it's in place. I need my coffee, I work graveyard.
