XJ wheeling pics
Lets see everyone's wheeling pics. The dirtier they are the better! Got trail damage? Lets see it.
1) Must be pics of your Cherokee
2) Pavement shots are discouraged unless its an "after" wheeling shot of the jeep muddy, or you just lifted it and want to show it off, etc.
Any other suggestions will be considered. (Please send via PM)
here is a better picture of mine
Some pics from an FM2CD run at Shoe Creek this past weekend...more pics are coming:
Here's a couple from a mini rock garden we found where I almost rolled the XJ. Was doing fine here...
If I had not steered into the direction of travel to keep the wheels turning it would have rolled onto it's side here...I will say I was gettin ready to reach for the key, I thought it was going over....
Like I said...more pics in a few days...
More pics from the March 20th FM2CD run....
The only damage shot (so far)...I forgot to take it off....
Out wheelin on Ft. Rich in anchorage alaska.........
Me about to be stuck..... after the ice on the bottom of this watery mud pit falls through...
It's kind of nice being able to wheel on the army base connected to our AF base..... the AF won't let us wheel on our base.... but that's ok cause the army base is much bigger and you can go back there for hours... I'm still finding new trails back there. Although most of them are pretty novice trails... it's still better then sittin at home doing nothing......
Time for some rock crawlin'...
...good times at the Hammers. http://www.home.earthlink.net/~jdrios/smokin.gif
I found a nice mud pit near my house. I didn't realize when I went into the mud that I could only get out the way I went in, so I had to turn around in the mud and ended up backing into a tree. I don't have any actual wheeling pics because I didn't have my camera with me but I have some after pics.
This is my recent trip to the woods
Nothing makes me happier than not getting stuck with a stock suspension and all terrain tires. Of course, I paid for not getting stuck by grinding a stump through my floor twice. I would also have to say that there is alot of snap crackle and pop on my daily driver after I exercised the suspension. A lift kit is in order!
I took my camera with me this time. I went into the water only to realize that it was way to deep and had to turn around and get out. I almost got stuck but the jeep made it out.
Went and did a little bit of wheelin the other day....
