I made my first Jeep video, although the Cherokee doesn't make an actual appearance onscreen at any point. It's a little different viewpoint from your average wheeling video. It's not very exciting, but I thought the stability of the image was cool, given that it was attached to the Jeep as I drove.

For most of the video, yes. I'm new at this off-roading thing, so I was a little unsure of what I could or couldn't do in Hi. Looking back, I don't think there was a single part of that trail that I couldn't do in Hi.
Thanks for watching!

honestly from the view it looked like you would be able to do in 2 but it's hard to tell. 4lo (in my oppinion) is a last chance thing if I start spinning in 2 or 4hi. Everyone has their own thing, you will figure out a good way for you

So your videoing and driving? lol smooth. Ice is no fun. I almost rolled mine on a hill sliding down sideways in the snow. You got lucky.

From the video it def looks like you're driving and working the camera. You were kinda asking for it. You can't recover from a skid with one hand, you'll always over-correct.

yea i was driving and recording. Not a good combo. I was asking for it but I couldn't resist the icy roads. By the way, I didnt get out and push. The good ol jeep just crawled right out after a couple of try's.

I'm just glad all you did was slide off the road. That could've ended much worse. However, I totally agree, icy roads are a blast in an XJ.

Ah, that's okay. This is how young people learn that they are invincible: "Hey! I was driving on icy roads and spun out while also holding a video camera and everything turned out fine. There's no reason to think I can't do that while driving on the highway in traffic! Whoo-hoo!"
