Xj on top gear 9/10/13

Looks like there is goin to be an xj on tonight's new episode of top gear.
I'm actually a zj guy but I thought y'all would like to know.
I haven't actually seen an episode of the American version of top gear... But I haven't heard good reviews of it
So I opened this thread so you guys could praise or bash these guys.

I personally don't like the American version of Top Gear. BBC Top Gear is IMO the best. I have seen the commercial for this. Looks.... interesting. I noticed the guy driving the XJ cut the roof and made wings or something.

I think it was a waste of an Xj. He should have cut out the center portion of the roof and snapped on canvas or did a big retracting cloth top

He cut down the center of the roof and hatch then cut along the top body line. Welding the roof to a piano hinge on the side of the body so the roof folded outwards. He installed a single hoop rollbar.

It was a pretty mediocre episode. There was a lot of childish crap talking between the 3 guys. No technical aspects or anything of interest really happened. It was a waste of a nice Xj.

They pretty much destroyed what looked like a pretty nice late model XJ. Another one bites the dust.
