Xj soft doors & Flat Steel Fenders

BUMP BETTER PICS BELOW

The guys did a great job on the doors. They break down so the windows come off or unzip.

First off, they look freakin sweet. I would love to have a set made up for my heep, if I thought I could get away with it.

Any predictions on getting hassled by cops, or inspection mechanics, since the whole doorless/hinge modification thing is technically not allowed in PA?

Pretty cool.

But like I found out with my CJ Soft doors, they are a false sense of "protection"

You will end up running the half doors or no doors...or full doors of course.

Thx
Not to avoid your inquiring, but I cannot even begin to estimate what they would need to charge in order to duplicate these for another client.

We were the first which makes it typically more involved. On the other hand because of our FathersnSons.com, fabricators have been very generous with their time vs charges.

I will say, the pics do not even begin to show how involved these doors are. The quality of the work is top shelf. A we all know you typically only get what you pay for.

I would be willing to forward any contact info concerning serious inquires to them. Just send me a PM.

THX

I am able to get it inspected & the police have never bothered us. To clarify this I will say we do not cruse around like we once did. We typically trailer it to events because we know we will break something someday.

As you know it seems off road upgrades directly appose highway safety. Frankly, its not that fun anymore to drive it for long distances.

If you go this route, remember your mirrors need to be replaced. They are on the doors.

OFF ROAD we yank the doors. The jeep has the carpet removed and is Herculined.

On Road we like running without the doors unless we hit weather, then the doors go on, quickly.

Thanks all for your kind words & inquires.

Better pics

Hope this helps, Because we took the Jeep from one fab shop to the next I do not have pics. I stole these from another forum the fabricators use.

That is really sweet!! They just about look like thay came that way from the factory. You'll probably have people pulling up in their XJ's saying how upset they are not having that 'factory' option!!

Im loving these doors also, but would make me even happier if they could do like half doors with those tops like the do on wranglers. Also wondering what they cost..
