XJ Project with ??

Started on my new XJ Build-up with a couple of projects. I installed a Curt hitch in the rear and wanted something up front. Here's an idea I got. After reading many posts and some of my owm brain work here is what I came up with.

As you can see not a great sketch artist and a few things probably missing but you get the idea. Do you all think this is going to be fesiable and stong enough? I am retired , cheap and like to tinker. I can' afford a full blown bumper setup and like I said I and a DIY person. Won't cost much as I have most of the stuff lying around.

looks like it will work fine seems strong enough where you have the notch i guess for the fender brace i would round the inside corners have read that it reduces stress points that weaken the part.the d ring mount i believe in over kill i would bolt and weld them on
