Interesting BMX, I am considering a jensen model flip-up for my headunit replacement. But your set up there has me thinking, if I can fit a double din...then lets do it. How much dash hacking was involved? It didnt look like anything below the unit box..true?

It wasnt that hard, most of the cutting was actually behind the radio to tuck the whole thing back there. I had to cut probably an inch and below the radio in order to fit it. Its pretty easy and if you screw up on the cut Im sure the dash bezel can be had cheaply from a junkyard. Ive had alot of questions on it so one of these days im gonna put together a write up on one.

What is the Palm Treo hooked up to and whats it saying on the screen?
I have a palm here that I wouldn't mind hooking up to the computer, but mine is ODB1.

Should work on any. They are drop in replacements in most cases. I have blue ones in my '90, the only disadvantage is the dimmer no longer dims because they draw so little juice.

Ive got a few:
I built some custom sub boxes that contour to the back of the rear seats and extend over the wheel wells for greatest possible volume. They sound sweet, and they dont move around at all because of the design. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/05-25-06_1401.jpg?t=1237410814 http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/05-25-06_1434.jpg?t=1237410838 http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/05-26-06_1711.jpg?t=1237410853 then after I had some sound i decided I needed some video.... I started by moving the stock cigarette lighter http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/04-03-06_2359.jpg?t=1237410942 then the radio and heater control http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/04-06-06_1431.jpg?t=1237410971 after that in bought a touch screen and separated the circuit boards from it and mounted them on plexi. it was then installed behind where the stock radio would go. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/04-06-06_1705.jpg?t=1237411011 and finally I put a big a$$ 15inch touch screen in http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv266/saint18z/04-06-06_2253.jpg?t=1237411110 then I cleaned it up dressed the wires and made it look nice with a new bezel. unfortunately I do not have any finished pictures. the touch screen ran off a laptop that was mounted along side the passenger seat and it would control music, video, and GPS.
