I removed the cloth, then scrapped the foam off with a wire brush until there was just fiber glass then I spray painted it.

I just finished the visors on my 91 XJ, all you need to do is pull the old fabric off, then there are a few clips that can be undone with a flat head screw driver. The whole thing can be opened up like a clam shell. Then you can take your new fabric and install it w/ spray adhesive. Be sure to leave it a little long so you can wrap it top the inside and then close it back up. If you do it right it will look like stock. Ill post pictures of how I did my visors overhead counsel and headliner if I get a chance tonight.

ok but thats as far as we goes until i get to know you better.
I do like the smaller diameter for crawlin tight trails. helps keep the 35s trackin and moving. when I'm clawin my way through, I'm workin that wheel all over the place. and I didn't even give up an airbag.

chris87xj this is one mod I've been thinking about for a while but haven't been able to pull the trigger. Mainly because I've never seen anyone else do it and put anything on the net about it.

How hard was it? Would you do it again? Changes you would make?
