...I DONT WANT DOORS IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. I KNOW THERE ARE A MILLION THREADS ABOUT DOORLESS CHEROKEES, BUT HOW TO GO ABOUT IT??
WHERE DO I START?? WHAT IS THE BEST WAY?? UNBOLT THEM, OR MAKE A CUSTOM SOMETHING?? AND IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS...TOPLESS!! (THE JEEP) I SEE CHEROKEE SOFT TOPS ON RANDOM INTERNET PICS BUT ALSO...HOW TO DO IT?? THIS THREAD IS VERY IMPORTANT...PLEASE POST ALL INFO POSSIBLE AND PICS FOR THE VISUALIZATION PART OF IT!! JEEPS RULE!!

Alright...I tried to go doorless this weekend and it failed miserably. I have the right size torx bits for the doors but cannot get the back two bolts out. The torx socket fits and clears the door sills...there is just not enough room for the ratchet to get into place. Is there an easier way to get the back two bolts? Cant the hinge pins be knocked out with a punch or some other way?

put an open end wrench on the torx bit. turn it that way
