Who Bores 4.0 Throttle Bodies, Where To Send Out?

Just Curious Found One Guy On Ebay, 84.00 Plus Shipping And Needs By Old One As A Core. He Said He Eliminated The Whistle He Claims, Any Ideas Or Other Places To Go, A Bbk Tb Is Too Expensive For My Daily Driver. 63mm Right?

I bored mine out last weekend to be 60mm all the way through the only problem i have had is the shaft the butterfly valve sits on was a bit worn so when i cleaned everything the idol stuck a bit so I just put on a small return spring to the throttle bracket which took care of the problem I did have the whistle at first took the TB off again and filed all the sharp stright edges on the sensor holes and the whistle went away so its not tough to get rid of the whistle so it might be a good deal just watch the throttle is very responsive after you put these on I love the extra throttle response on mine good luck

so do you just send him your TB with the money and he'll bore it out, replace butterfly, and etc. for you and send it back? Whats the biggest you can bore our a tb without having to bore the intake too? im guessing 63mm

he sends you a new one, and you send you yours back so you dont have any downtime.

my 63mm TB is .5-1mm larger than my intake, and i thought of getting it ported but didnt want to. i figured with new 99+ intake upgrade i did if i ported the intake i might loose a tad bit more low end if i widened the intake bc id be slowing incoming air down...

anyway yea, none of that matters unless you have a good intake system setup and a modified exhaust system anyway.

iirc the biggest you can bore a stock TB is 63mm.
