white XJ's out there. does white hide scrathces and dents well?
im tryin to decide what im going to paint my jeep probally something out of the Duplicolor Paint shop Series ( pre-mixed and EVERYTHING ) i allways liked White and Silver XJ's and am thinking i might do one of those but i want something that will hide scratches which is why i decided against Flat black : ( what do you guys think? maybe do the 97+ swap later too.

Definitely white would be the best to hide scratches. With dents hard to say, but it may cloak dents better as well. It also would be easier to spray than a silver as well.

That's questionable... My experience w/ my white XJ: surface scratches (scuffs, etc.) = yes, white masks that pretty good. But deeper scratches (to the metal) = white sucks. White shows dirt like a champ too...

My Jeeps paint looks brand new but if you get right up next to it the hidden scratches start to show up. My white paint job is amazing at hiding scratchs.

mine's silver and hides scratches fairly well...Dents, not so much. But with all the mud that's usually on it, no one can see the scratches or dents
