Brackets are different. You might get lucky and find some at JY. Nearly Every Jeep XJ part supplier out-there, has tow hook brackets available.

Check out your local junkyard and see if you can't find some factory hooks and brackets. If not, you're looking at about $40 plus shipping for some front recovery hooks.

I paid 40 for factory brackets and hooks off cl. Custom 4x4 has a tow hook kit, so does Rusty's, and pretty much everywhere else that sells Jeep parts.

I would go with either Custom 4x4s or stocks.

I have seen several pictures of Crustys bending with light pulling.

Gotcha...

I did a little searching and found some guys recommend these. I think I might go with the D-rings, but I think the tow hooks would look much cleaner but not function as well as the D-rings. Anyone know what bow shackles are?

D rings will hold your tow strap in better. The strap will fall off the hook unless you have some sort of clip on the hook. Like i have. haha
