Here in pa back spacing is a "big deal" to officers apparently. I know at the end of the day it depends on the officer but how many jeepers have tires that stick out anywhere from .25 to 1" plus and have had no problem? I'm torn between Moab look a like wheels with 4.5 or 5" back spacing, or these pro comps with 3.75". I like the pro comps but would like to save myself the b.s of having my wheels stick out

In PA as long as all the tread is covered by the fender flares it is fine and will pass inspection. However, my LJ stuck out about 0.5" of tread past the flares and the local inspection station never flagged it.

Depends on the cop but in PA typically any tires sticking out past the flares is an easy target for police.

Quebec cops LOVE to ticket folks for tire coverage and mud flaps.

They especially pick on Ontario drivers as Ontario police generally don't force the issue.

They charge by the inch starting at $100 bucks.

Laws vary by state. I probably have 2" of exposed tire but there's no tire coverage laws in VA but you are responsible for anything you kick up. PA is easily one of the strictest states for driving and vehicle equipment laws.
These new sig limits suck. Thanks a lot Canada.
