Wheel spacers

I have a Cherokee with a 6" lift and I recently cut the fenders to the lip where the stock flares were mounted. I was thinking about getting some spacers mainly for aesthetics. Can anyone give me some advice about the size (1"-2"), pros and cons please?

This is an album of the flares as they are now.

I run 1.25inch spacers on mine since I run a factory wheel, keeps the tires out of the rear leafs and I only have minor rubbing issues with the control arms.
