235/75/15s now, but I have 31s on Soft 8s ready to go once the new springs are installed.

35's aired down to single digits or GTFO. .!..!.

Honestly, 31s, and especially 33x10.5's are very capable on XJ's, particularly when a locker is added into the mix. Going past 33s just increases your workload.
