More quirks about the XJ:

It always squeaks when I let off the brakes. Not sure why. Its not very loud, but one of those things you can hear it especially if your trying to listen for it. About a half hour in traffic and i'm ready to get out right there in the intersection and rip the brakes apart

Another is on the way back home from school. The first 115 miles is interstate with nothing but cotton fields on either side, no trees to block any wind. So when it's windy my roofrack with the spare on top acts a sail and I sway all over the place. All the while I'm white knuckling and ****ting in my pants. haha. The situation gets even scarier when I'm passing an 18-wheeler

Quarks? The dash rattles every few days for six or seven hours of drive time. So, I pop the dash lose and let it chill.

-Parking on curbs intentionally to irritate my girlfriend
-Giving the "oh-no" look when it won't start, specifically to irritate my girlfriend
-Snow mound parking, to irritate my girlfriend
-moving the steeering wheel 6 inches side to side and telling my girlfriend that the steering went out, mostly just to irritate her
-going down a highway in the winter and feeling like my legs are going to freeze off from the swiss cheese floor boards... honestly, that irritates both of us

haha, it always takes my sisters like 5 minutes to open the doors...I just don't get it.

Also, the clips inside my shifter handle are broken so I can pull it off. That will usually freak someone out the first time.

x2 on the cranking long enough that my friends think it isn't going to start and the dash making all kinds of sounds.

And lastly, how most others can't start my Jeep because they don't know how! My fuel pump is messed up so you have to turn the power on and off a couple of times. I'll fix it some day, but it's become habit now so I don't even think twice about it. (probably why i stopped worrying about it...)
