Xj whats wrong with ad a leaf?

i want to ad a rusty's 3in lift kit

i go 4 wheelin a couple time a year mostly dirt roads and sand
i have 2000 xj mostly stock and i want to put on 31's or 33's

It will probably sag after a year too. IMO you might as well just get all new springs and fix the problem rather than bandage it for a while.

I say go for the long aal that is what I am going to run soon as get some rear shocks and ubolts got 3 inch coils control arms for the front.

98 xj 4.0L 231 / aw4 /8.25/3.55

I'd do it right the first time and not look back. If AAL's were as good as new then they wouldn't bother making new ones.

'98 xj: 3.5" RE, 31's, nates front bumper, etc etc...

'90 xj: Wrecked, waiting for the day it can become a full blown trail rig.

'00 wj SOLD (still in family)

i've got the rusty's 3 inch aal and it seemed to improve my ride and no sagging yet, if u have a tight budget like me i'd go for it, if aal were complete junk they wouldnt bother offering them

plus rustys has liftime warranty on it.
i used it because my aal was sagging, no questions asked and they sent me a new pair

i bought my current jeep with a 3'' lift with aal's. I absolutely hate it. the springs on my jeep are so freaking stiff it's not funny. I'm saving my money right now for ome full packs and front coils

i have a add a leaf, i dont mind it too much, i was able to get a lift with the money i had, BUT if you got the money dont get the add a leaf, spend the extra couple bucks and do it right

x2 for getting the springs, unless you really dont have the money and thats the only way to do your lift get the springs
