What's it worth?

Group,

I'm at a cross-roads with my XJ. Trying to decide if I hold onto it for another year and then relegate it to the "3rd vehicle" or sell it now and replace it with something else. If it ends up becoming the 3rd vehicle, actually 4th... it would only be used for trips to family cabins & taking our dog places.

Basic specs:
'99 XJ Classic
Black/Grey
Automatic
154,000 miles
4wd
Power windows/locks

Recent maintenance in the last 10k miles:
-4 Bilstein shocks
-New fuel pump
-New fuel pressure regulator
-New front pads & rotors
-New rear drums & shoes
-New rear wheel cylinders
-New swaybar links
-New front swaybar bushings
-New drag link
-New tie rods
-New steering stabilizer
-2x new wheel bearings/hubs(Front)
-New ball joints(front)
-New OE Fog lights
-New Hella E-code headlights
-New water pump
-New thermostat
-New thermostat housing
-New coolant hoses
-New belt tensioner
-New serpentine belt
-New fan clutch
-New Alpine CD/MP3 player
-XJ Pod w/ 8" sub
-New 235/75 General Grabber AT2 tires
-New muffler & exhaust from cat back
-New Windshield

Interior is extremely clean - no stains, perfect seats (sans cracking on outside of driver seat like most), perfect cargo area.
I had the complete rockers replaced with OEM pieces 2 years ago, and rust proofed everything I could, as there was the start of some small rust spots on the rockers. Oil always changed every 3,000 miles in conjunction with filter.

So, what says you, Jeep guru's??
Below are some OK photos of the Jeep in it's current state:

Thank you!
-Chris

My local market.....4700-5300....for a rust free XJ. I don't know how to account for the rust on yours.

Very clean.

Around $5000 is what I'd expect around here, but they're high around here the past few years. Blue book is only around $3900.

You're not going to get back what you've put into at this point. Personally I'd say hold on to it. Keep it in the shape it's in and pass it on to the oldest when they hit driving age.

Thank you both!
Keeping it for the driving age child is a long ways off... probably at least 18+ years right now.

Best,
Chris

Ah, for some reason I assumed you had some already.

Might try taking it to a dealer, because it's late model and so clean they might buy it outright from you.
