Northern Drivetrain is a great place to get Spicer U-joints, straps, yokes, etc.
The descriptions and diagrams on the specific product pages are very informative.
Fast service, too.

I try to stick with JF vendors when I can, but otherwise Ive used Amazon for a lot of things. They've had some things so cheap I had to really read everything to make sure it was right haha.

If I can't build it I order from whoever is cheapest. Also, like Tom said, order from vendors that support forums. They will usually make you a good deal, too. And Quadratec is great if you enjoy being raped.

^I can agree. Ive got a couple Quadratec XJ catalogs and every so often Ill see something cool, look up the price, and **** myself. Almost everything there isnt even close to where you could get it elsewhere. Then again I think their primary target market is mall crawling Wrangler owners looking for sweet chrome double tube push bumpers and "if you can read this, roll me over" decals. That particular group probably doesnt know anywhere else to shop on the interwebz.

Not to knock Quadratec, they have a lot of nice selection, and if the free shipping deal is true thats a very nice gesture that may help offset the uncompetitive pricing.

The free shipping is true. I just used it this week. I love saving money with Amazon but so long as the price is close I prefer quadratec. I would hate for those catalogs to stop showing up for me to drool over.

Someone posted Quadratec is gentle and uses lube if you tell them you're a forum member.

All joking aside, Quadratec prices are OK if they waive shipping charges for forum members, as someone posted. But... You can usually do better than OK on Amazon or Ebay, if they have what you want. Some times they have the goods. Sometimes not. Sometimes they have goods that Quadratec doesn't and vice versa.

Yep. Sadly quadratec is Amed toward the mall Crawler jks. They really don't care about the older Jeeps.

I like Northridge4x4 I sent the Rep that's listed on the forum a pm asking for a discount and he knocked off about 20% and shipped it free!
