If its a DD ill go ahead and say dont get STTs Ill be replacing mine in about a year and a half. They wear faster than i thought (which I already knew would be fast). If i did it again i would have gotten 33 BFG M/Ts with my 3.5" lift and trimmed.

My votes for the Pro Comp ATs. They wear like steel and I ran them on my Bronco and got about 20,000 on them then switched to my 33" MTRs. They still have half tread or beeter and I wheeled them and never got stuck.

Also, I like the BFG as do most.

What price range?

I would agree on the BFG MT, not the best mud tire, but a good compromise for street/trail use.

If you do A LOT of driving definately go with an a/t. I heard nothing but good things about BFG A/Ts as far as treadwear goes. I guess some people could get 60+k out of the older ones or something. Ill be lucky to get 25k out of my coopers.

Really? F that. I like them both but they better use the old KMs price durn it. ha

So where you getting the bacon air freshener?

Also, what other plans you have for your Jeep? Asessing those might help with tire choices.
