what is that rubber engine protector cover thing? lost mine

that rubberish cover that protects the engine and alternator etc . some how blew off as I was driving. lol where can I find another ?

If I knew there was a demand for them I would've kept mine. Ripped mine off during the engine swap and never put it back on. But it already left with the garbage week's ago.

I ripped mine off also, wouldnt mind tracking down another though to save the alternator some water exposure. Its in a pretty vulnerable location.

It's a "fitted sheet" of rubber that goes under the motor to act as a splash guard. Only reason I knew what they were talking about was I'd seen one on an XJ at the boneyard once and wondered - what the hell is this inconvenient piece of junk?

leave it off you'll get 2 mpg better and 1/2 second faster in the 1/4 mile. Its a win win!

Is yours on? A couple of the eyelets or whatever they are are ripped so it sort of sags at the sides
Ill take it off when I need to do work behind it or this spring
