We put 4.56's in MOBBiN's XJ and he has 36" tires. Works dang good. I have 4:10's and 38" tires. I need a little more gear. Going to try 5.13's for next summer.

I run 4.88s with 35s and the AW4 and it works fine but I would go deeper if the d30 could go deeper. It is not my DD so highway MPG doesn't matter to me.

Stock with 31s but mines pushing 200k miles and i'd hate to drop too much $ into it when i'm looking for a YJ to tinker with. I'd like to do my father's same setup just with a better kit and 130k miles but he doesn't give a damn about gears and thinks they're a waste of money.

Mine are stock 3.55 gears with 33s.

Would really like to jump to 4.56 or possibly 4.88.

LPD30 needs a new carrier for those gears. My dillema is do I really wanna regear and lock my LP and call it good or do find a cheap HP, build it with gears and Aussie or such, and swap it.

You can only polish a turd so much. That's why I didn't bother swapping a hp in.

3.73's on 32's but it's manual trans (more forgiving). Decent set up. Slightly steeper gears would be better.
