Xj Today...

Well first I wanted to take off the NSS and try to clean it up and see if that would help....and of course I broke all to hell in the process! Found one on ebay and ordered that today and thanks to many, I learned how to bypass the NSS for starting purposes. Thank God for JeepForum.com & the info I am learning on here.

I fixed the broken rear shock mounting bolt, again thanks to JF.com for the awesome help, otherwise I was about to cut into my rear floor to access it!

Then I removed my stock fog lights and moved them to the bottom of bumper and more centered to make room for the HELLA 500FF's I'm gonna put on there tomorrow!

I really wish I could afford some aftermarket off-road bumpers!

Went to autozone. Got rust converter, sandpaper, paint. Removed flares/endcaps. Put the converter all over the place (thanks salt!). Paint tomorrow

Oh, and I washed, waxed, vacuumed, and cleaned the interior

Xj

Today I put on the new lights...HELLA 500FF on the front bumper. Went together like a charm and I love learning and doing more. I even had my 7 yr old son help me for a little while. He can get his little arms and hands in the front bumper a lot better than I can! Couldn't have done it without him...
My wife is always telling me, "Oh no, you've created another one!" Referring to my son liking Jeeps and Motorcycles like me!

Anyway, rode around the yard for a bit after adjusting the new lights with "Duke" our Newfoundland....he like to go for rides, even for a few minutes around the yard!

So that's it for today...took a couple of "poser" pics for posting too! Not good ones but all I have for now.

Washed and waxed it.

Also sanded down my header panel and front bumper and re-painted them.
