Bought a couple cans of black Rustolium spray paint and sprayed most of the underneath. Not only does it cover any spots where its nicked or peeling it makes it look better. Of course you have to remove any mud or dirt. I do this once a year instead of using undercoating which I believe can trap moisture. So far so good, could not find any rust under there .

i didnt need to. tires dont rub at all and after the lift, ill be on 4.5" with 30" tires.
all the clearance i could ever need. once the 30s where out, i plan on going to 32s or 33s..not sure which yet, thats a ways down the road.

Cleaned her out some, and tinted the windows.
Bought a windshield for 60 bucks to put on her some time this week. Yeah.. Not much really.

Went to Autozone to complete my shopping list: size 50 torx, can of black spray paint, tirer restorer gunk, sandpaper. Then taking one of my old rims (took them off Tuesday-traded for Soft 8's) and painting them black and mounting a new tire for a full size spare...
Then I might wash and vacuum it ![]() |

Lifted the battery tray only to find horrible rust, some which was deeper than the surface :ugh:
I sanded it down as much as I could and get some rust converter, smoothed it out again then proceeded to put rust treatment paint on it with a layer of flat black rustoleum "stop rust" on top.
