lets see..drove it to school, to the senior campus, friends house, gas light came on, went to my house, helped a friend pull his muffler so he can put on a cherrybomb, neighbors reported me again for noise (****ING HATE THEM) and the cop started talking about legal issues with my jeep, went to my friends, worked on his exhaust, filled up with $42 worth (almost 3/4 a tank..sweet!), drove around in my friends backyard and re-aimed my hellas.

I replaced the front shocks on XJ last night and switched back to my stock rims and tires. It feels so much better, like a Jeep not a death trap!

Hooked up the aux fan to a switch. Bought some 2" coil spacers to lift the front end up so it's level.

What's her deal anyway? Does she really have nothing better to do than just keep wasting the Cop's time?

finished up putting my control arm brackets on. while I was under there i lubed all the zerks, removed the trackbar and greased all the bushings and bolts, greased all the control arm bushings, cleaned the coils and shocks, re-tightened everything, and set her back down. Moved the axle forward about another inch. We'll see how it does next trip out...might need to move it back up about a 1/2". But I went to spec on the length of the control arms per the directions. Just seems like the driveshaft is pretty close to the teeth showing.

I decided that when my XJ is on the verge of death I'm going to cage it, through in a SBC V8, lift it, and then run it in the Baja 1000.

Aircruiser, you want in ? I'm thinkin' I'll needa co-pilot/driver .

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/installing-jk-shocks-my-xj-write-up-603221/

and then installed a new gauge cluster so I don't have to rely on idiot lights.
