Umm... Drove to work. Drove home.

Long list for tomorrow ::weather permitting:: Snorkel install, fender trimming, trim removal, new track-bar. All in-between prepping for a calc exam. Gonna be a long day tomorrow.

that is the front bumper

it was simple to make. piece of 4x4 box, cut a wedge out of it, heated it up, bent it over and welded it back closed., then added mounts and D-rings. teh receiver was an afterthought actually. but a plasma cutter made it easy to put in atleast.

it seems my little station wagon of a jeep grew 3 inches today and is due for another 1 1/2 once i get my tires

lift is a 3" rough country, with front coils, rear add-a-leafs, and nitro shocks. i did add-a-leafs because my currant spring pack is in good shape

so me and a punch of friends are hanging out by one of the spots we go wheelin, we were just hangning. i was the only one with a 4x4 so we werent going wheelin, so were all hanging and another friend shows up, well he thought it would be funny to go drive threw the grass and get around my friends mustang. so he goes into the grass, well he didnt know there deep nuts from us wheelin there. oh yeah it POURED last night so everything was pur mud. so of course he burried his car, its just sitting on the frame rails. so of course he looks me to go get him out. so im a nice guy, so we go get some chains and we get everything in position to pull him out. i put it in 4low and ask my other friend if im good to go, he says yeah, and i hear a car door close. so i pull him out like nothing, i was on blacktop. he was litterally 10min from blacktop. so im pulling and im like wtf when is he going to stop? so i let off the gas and BAM his lumina ****ing hits my back right! so i finnaly stop and i run over to his car and slam the window... and NO ONE WAS IN IT!!! the dumb ****er got out of the car, but before he got out he threw it in neutral!!! dumb mother ****er!!! i get out and im livid! im yellin! anyone who is a local on this forum knows i keep my XJ SPOTLESS. so his car stratched the **** out of my back right end cap and flare. thank god it didnt get my paint on the quarter panal. his car didnt hold up worth ****. i was so mad and he knew it so he let me kick in the rear quarter panal on his car since it was shot. ( it was all i could do to keep from hitting him) so we agreed that he is going to buy me a new end cap and flare. now your prob thinking big deal there just plastic, but since mine is a 60th ann. ed. there both painted. so that is y im pissed. so yeah that is how my night went. im still pissed and oh yeah i cnt wait to tell my dad tomorrow

ok now i feel a little better, the kid called me like 5min ago and says his rear axle snapped as he pulled into his driveway. i was like how? and he said that is what he hooked the chain too... but either way he is giving me the money to fix my jeep.

I used to have a 92' Lumina, sank it in the muddy field at my old high school during my friend's graduation ceremony. There is a hole in the "frame" for a chain hook instead of destroying the axle/suspension. Your friend is an idiot. Sucks about your Jeep. Maybe this is the excuse to upgrade to an aftermarket bumper?

Drove it to the bay area. Averaged 17 mpg, with 5 people, and 200 lbs worth of gear. Not bad at all.

yeah i got the stage 3 though with the receiver hitch..awesome bumper. been hit about 5 times by other vehicles just messin around..use it to park offroad on hills against trees haha (no i dont smash the trees, just rest it against them if its on a steep incline and im watching a friend do a run)

for me today, i put in the new drivers seat, put in the new over head light fixture, new badge on the rear and put on the new third brake light..painted it black with the jeep letters red..ill get pics up once i find my camera..really praying it did not get stolen.
