Nope, I'm low on funds and not sure how long I will remain at my job. So it seems that is on the project back burner.

lame...

I emailed this guy about grabbing two D44s supposed one was for an XJ and one for a TJ.

nevermind, I'm an idiot.

its just the shafts...

Rear Dana 44 Spare Axles for Jeep Wrangler TJ and XJ Cherokee, Used, but in good shape, Were my spare set, OEM axles, not cheap aftermarket replacements, Still have bearings, seals and studs mounted, Left and Right Axles
Everything sounds like an entire axle until the last line

Started it to hear it run and grabbed some CDs. Can't drive it for a few days, appendicitis, have to lay around for a while and cruise the JF.

didn't really do a whole lot to the jeep other than drive it today. But I did sell my 33's and cragars (had them for my WJ but since selling that i needed to sell the tires/wheels) and my D35 with a bad pinion bearing. Now I can pay bills!

installed 2800 stall convertor on 2000 cherokee

i just finished installing a 2000 grand cherokee 4.0 engine and a 2800 stall converter in my 2000 limited np 242 cherokee. had to cut one of the engine bosses down on the left side of engine block. used stock cherokee motor mounts and brackets. got rid of the those pesky inverted torx on the back top of the trans and swapped them for regular bolts. purchased the converter from superior transmissions in silver spring md which builds racing transmissions and does regular work. you can google them on the web. they ordered it from a company in TN i believe. now my jeep really takes off. will add some vacuum balls to increase power after i reconnect my transfer case, change diff oil, and purge the engine of air.

As if the stock XJ engine doesnt have enough pick up haha. Sounds like alot of work but I bet it flies. Im pretty satisified with the take-off speed my stock i6 has. Its funny, I can smoke 80% of the ricers around here off the line, and the look on their faces, priceless. Of course when I'm on the highway, I don't have much to brag about so I tend to ignore most of the guys flying by going 90+

x2, I blow cars away all the time in my XJ.

I feel so bad about it though since she's getting old and should be accelerated lightly in.
