Got my Magnaflow high flow cat in the mail, re-ordered my Flowmaster Super44 off-road muffler(Summit is back ordered till the 28th now), ordered my RE adjustable UCA's, and RE "hack and tap" SYE, got the Smittybuilt adjustable tire deflaters, and hope to order my TNT Customs high clearance X-member, and a CV DS bought and installed before my trip to Redbird on the 6-7 next month.
The Cat was $74 shipped from Summit, and showed up on my front door about 24 hours after ordering it
I'm cutting my old cat off and taking it to the scrap yard, I'm fairly certain I can get about $125 for it, covering the cost of the new cat, and having it and the new muffler installed.
Picked up a set of 5 spoke wheels for around $100. The kid sold his jeep out in Colorado for an audi wagon.....stupid if you ask me. I installed them on my 235's and put them on. I also put speakers in it, touched up the herculiner, and put the fender flares back on and a new battery.
Finally had a chance to weld on my UBEs test fit my front DS on the rear with the sye. Still need to mount and weld on the shock mounts but its getting closer to sitting on all 4s again. Damn working till 8 makes it hard to get **** done though.
Stupid comes long before scared
96 2 door xj 30/8.8 4.88s locked on 35s... lots of body mods from trees
I never really understood how an old cat can be worth more than a new one. do the new ones not have precious metals in them?
I might go ahead and order a new one if i can make 25 or so bucks out of the deal.
My Dad gave me one for a 91 Caprice that he had laying around and just wanted gone, thought I could get $50-60 for it, took it to the scrap yard and got $150 for it! A replacement cat from Magnaflow for that engine is $73-79. I'm not complaining about the prices.
