I fail to understand the problem here. I tried to tell the person their hubcap had flown off. They were too stupid to understand I wanted them to roll down the window, and I started yelling. I honestly think race, language and culture are totally unrelated to the matter. I just mentioned it because that's what they were, it's a detail. What's the problem?

I'm sure maybe they were afraid you were going to pull a gun on them, or maybe they thought you were mad at them. I know when someone tries to tell me something when I'm driving I immediately get defensive.

Maybe you over-reacted a little bit, but they obviously weren't listening to you anyway

I hear you and understand. I have tried to do my fair share of being a good Samaritan that ended up with me getting pissed. But, do you think they could have not understood English all that well? That is my guess why they had the stupid look on their faces.

I approached them very calmly. I rolled up next to them, and the guy just stared at me, as if I was speaking a foreign language. Sure, it's possible for that to have actually been the case, but how can you be sure? He couldn't figure out that I was trying to say roll down the window.

I'll admit that I overreacted, but no one got hurt, and no one was offended. I have a low tolerance for people that come off as stupid. My bosses at work don't tolerate it well when someone messes up either. I suppose I should sue them next time I get yelled at for a mistake I made, right?

Oh well, right?

Thanks I appreciate that.

I have no way to tell, he wouldn't even open the window.

You clearly didn;t use the universal sign for rolling down a window...
(the hand motion for a manual window)
Mouthing words, and using the power window motion can be confusing, lol.

I am just messin with ya! If they didn't roll the window down with you talking to them, they probably would understand the "universal" sign for it anyway.

Besides, if you can laugh about it with a guy in a GMC, its worth it.

And I drove my XJ today and as I was getting on the highway it was very close traffic and an XJ in the right lane gave me the flash to go cause he knew I could put the pedal down and make it, which I did Later he drove by me and gave me a nice thumbs up
