You guys lie!

That thing looked sweet.

On another note: I straightened up my trunk today.

Surprisingly, everything I ever use to work on my Jeep is located back there.

2 words: tie downs

last thing you want in the unlikely event of an accident is to not only hit something but then get a tool box in the back of the head

As I type, I'm draining my trans fluid again, because it looks like its going to take another run through of fluid to get it to the color I want. I'm also doing Tcase fluid and greasing slip joint with antiseize..

quick question though, for np231 tcase on 98 xj should I do dex/merc or atf+4? I have both readily available.

That's a good point.

Especially since there's a few things that are atleast 10lbs back there. I'll have to pick one up, thanks!

OH

Wait

It's an XJ.
Its not as bad as you'd think.

When my jack stands are back there they always fall over and rattle over everything.

But I get used to it.

Actually, if I don't hear rattling, I know something up.

something easy is using climbing rated carabiners, i have my recovery gear and jumper cables in a gym bag (couldnt find anything better yet) and just hook that to one of the tire tie downs on the floor with a biner, the weak link is going to be the method you use to attach the biner to the box but cable or chain would work wonderfully
